Abstract

Science and reason have been the two conditions that have characterized the evolution of mankind to advance in knowledge and to improve the conditions of society at all levels; in this process the introduction and advancement of technology has then played and is playing its part. Up to this point we probably all agree that we reach a point where the question “Besides this, what is there?” we find ourselves involved in a fascinating whirlwind of hypotheses in which “imaginative” computer engineers accompany us into the plausible world of artificial intelligence (AI).
