Per una pedagogia della biblioteca scolastica

Abstract

The article illustrates a plea promoted by the As.Pe.I which claims for the attribution of four academic credits (on 300 overall) for the performance of the teaching of “Pedagogy of the School Library”, as part of the five year degree course (single cycle) in Primary Education (i.e., Scienze della formazione primaria - SFP), in connection, preferably, with the teaching of History of Children’s Literature. It seems important, in fact, that, in their initial training, the prospective teachers in Kindergartens and primary schools can be sensitized to the educational importance of the school library.
